Meridian Energy . Information Hub
Not publicly accessible YouDo designed and developed the Information Hub for Meridian Energy which is displayed on the wall in the centre of their office as well as on many of the analysts' personal monitors.
The dashboard visually communicates business metrics in real-time allowing staff to make better and more informed decisions throughout their day. Remote data feeds gathered from web APIs, XML and screen scraping show real time movements in wholesale energy spot prices, power generation levels and other important data, and is updated every 60 seconds.
The dashboard was developed using Adobe Flex, Ruby on Rails, and agile processes.
