Dan is an ITIL qualified manager, and demonstrates excellence in providing IT services against aggressive service level agreements and budgets. Dan has a passion for providing the user with a passionate experience, backed up with customer support that is second to none.

Dan has previously worked for The Marketplace Company Limited and LogicaCMG.

Greig Robertson  ·  Database and Application Development

Greig's over 15 years of experience has spanned many technologies ranging from C and Ingres, through Oracle and Java and onto MySQL and Ruby. Currently Greig is enjoying the simplicity of the Rails framework. Greig has built on the foundations of his BEng. (Electrical & Electronics) with solid experience in many industries including finance, engineering and trading.

This experience has given Greig invaluable skills in implementing business solutions: robustness, extensibility, scalability, standards and maintainability. Greig's core skills, for which he is sought, are integration and development augmented with people skills and analysis aptitude. Greig is currently studying computer science and logic.

Greg Maddigan  ·  Process and Data Modeling

Greg is an enthusiastic and customer-focused IT professional with more than ten years of experience solving business problems using databases and web applications.

Greg has worked in a variety of industries including energy and utilities, transport, and finance, in New Zealand, Australia, and the UK. Greg's expertise spans most parts of the software life-cycle. Not only is he a seasoned database professional and web application developer, he is equally proficient at business analysis, design, implementation, and the operation of mission-critical production systems. His proven capability, eye for detail, and can-do attitude ensures the right outcome is delivered every time.

Greg is also an ITIL configuration management practitioner and can help customers to align the delivery and support of their IT services to the best-practice ITIL framework, enabling reliable and effective business operations. Greg's goal is to make life easier for his customers. He gets a buzz from working with them to understand their business requirements, then building and enabling a solution to meet those needs. He loves to see the difference the solution makes to his customers.

Roger Nesbitt  ·  Infrastructure and Code Quality

Roger's frequent proclamations of love for clean code get him smirks from around the office. With 24 years' coding and 17 years' system administration experience under his belt, he is responsible for making sure YouDo systems are robust, secure, easily maintainable, and always online. Roger does this by working with the team to make sure every line of code that goes out the door is as beautiful and simple as possible - something our customers are grateful for when we're able to make lightning-fast changes to their project at their request. He balances new and proven technologies to give the most power to projects without sacrificing stability.

Roger also takes care of the entirely automated systems that run YouDo's sophisticated infrastructure. With big-name companies in the news monthly for exposing or losing their clients' data, he takes a special interest in system security and data redundancy.

Kathryn Taylor  ·  Interaction and Interface Design

Kathryn has over 8 years experience in interaction and interface design. She has extensive experience having worked on large government department internal systems, to small SaaS web apps and public websites. She enjoys working closely with clients, users and developers throughout the entire life cycle of a project.

Having formally trained in visual communications, Kathryn takes inspiration from traditional design fundamentals, which enable her to produce visually stunning, and user-centric software in conjunction with the client’s business needs.
